Some more tips for HTML5 games
Here are some more tips to make your game a wonderful experience for the users:
- Desktop: Always check your game on desktop after finishing it. Make sure that the “desktop” display of the game is centered, if game is portrait. Don’t let your game display be to the left or to the right, a well centered desktop game looks much nicer.
- IE: Is very important also that our games work on IE 10 for desktop.
- Game Memory: By general rule don’t make your games take more than 4MB of memory. Remember the games will be played on many devices, some of which are not the latest and might have problems or lag when running the game.
- Levels & Score: It’s much better to have game where the player goes trough different stages and accumulates score. This makes a “share your progress with your friends” action possible, for a better gaming experience.
